Best of 2016 | Face Products

Now we move on to the Best of Face Products I have tried this 2016. First I'd like to quickly mention that I didn't buy that much face products for this year. I only wear makeup when I have event hosting so I don't see no reason to buy more. I still use some tried and tested products like the Shawill Collagen BB Cream included in my recent purchase haul for March, Quick FX No Shine Mattifier and Bobbie Cosmetics Poof! Under Eye Concealer. With that being said and done here are my top picks for this year.

Evian Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray

This Evian Facial Spray changed my foundation game for the better. I spray this before and after putting anything on my face. I also use this to wet my sponge or brush and make a much more finish to my base. It moisturizes, refreshes and tones the skin plus I feel like my makeup lasts longer and looks nicer after spraying this.

HBC San San HD Foundation in Olive

This is the one and only foundation I bought in 2016 that didn't disappoint. I love this so much especially when I use it during events. This product has medium to full coverage. It has SPF 30 and infused with vitamins a, c and e. What I love most about this foundation is how well my blush and bronzer sits with it as my base. It gives the best possible canvass to my face. Avon Ideal Oil Control Flawless Pressed Powder

I got this as a freebie when I bought the Avon True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstick in shade Wild Berry. This is my setting powder of choice for 2016. The powder is very fine and blends easily on the skin. I use a damp beauty sponge to mattify all over my face and I can definitely say that my makeup lasts longer than usual. This powder foundation reminds me so much of my overused and abused San San HD Powder last year. Worth buying!!!

City Colors Be Matte Blush in Sunset Safari

If you've been looking for a budget-friendly matte blush then I highly suggest getting City Colors Be Matte Blush in Sunset Safari. This blush is my go to whenever I have event hostings. It is very pigmented plus the pan is huge for its price. I love how it adds instant color to my face. READ HERE.

Ever Bilena Lip and Cheek Tint

This is by far an awesome find for me. I love this lip and cheek tint from Ever Bilena. I use it for more of an everyday look and stays long. The finish is very natural plus instant rosy cheeks talaga. One of my best local find ever.

NYC Bronzer in Sunny

This is my first ever legit bronzer and I adore it. I got this in a store inside Pop Beauty for only 150pesos. This bronzer is the bomb and has been on top of other YouTube Beauty Guru's Must Have Bronzer List. I didn't know the power of contouring until I got this NYC Bronzer in Sunny. This helps bring back color to my face.

AC Liquid Foundation in #2

For an everyday foundation or something that I can mix with other foundation I choose this AC Liquid Foundation in #2. It has a light to medium coverage that can even out my skin tone. I love that it has yellow undertone and how easy it is to apply even with bare hands. I got this in a shop at Glorietta and earlier this week while browsing some kiosks in Landmark I found the same makeup brand with other products. I'll try their brow and lash mascara next.

LA Girl Pro Concealer in Beautiful Bronze and Pure Beige

I honestly adore these concealers. I love using them for a little cream contouring before setting my face with powder. The Pure Beige has a perfect yellow in it to highlight and conceal the under eye circles. The Beautiful Bronze on the other hand is very helpful in making my nose appear smaller as well as the sides of my cheek area. Both concealers are creamy and pigmented and I did get them during last year's Noel Bazaar Experience

Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover

I remember getting this because of the great review I read from other Pinay beauty bloggers. I always have a hard time when it comes to removing my eye makeup especially mascara so I badly needed something that works well. This has an oil-like substance but not greasy at all. It will feel like water when you start to rub it on your eyes. I also love the fact that I can just use wet wipes or cotton pads to wipe out everything. I actually use this too for my face makeup and it also works well. After removing the makeup my skin feels soft and not dry.

Innisfree No Sebum Loose Powder

Here's the very first reliable loose setting powder I own. I adore this so much because it keeps my face matte for a long time. I love that its transparent and doesn't add color on my face. I use a damp beauty sponge to set my under eye area and a big fluffy brush for all over the face. It can be a little messy sometimes especially if you only have a little time to do your makeup but it works well for someone with super oily face like me. Iwhite Korea BB Holic BB Cream

For a local everyday BB Cream that has decent coverage and evens out the skin Iwhite Korea BB Holic is my choice. This definitely sets the bar high among the other BB creams I own. The shade Beige works perfectly for me. It is easy to apply and to blend with fingers and you can build the coverage if you want. How I wish this is available too in a full size one. READ HERE.

  1. I'm loving your list. Looking forward to try out LA Girl Pro Concealer since it's now available in my country. Innisfree No Sebum Loose Powder is also a great discovery for me this year. Other than that, I like Bifesta Cleansing Lotion! I've yet to try out the makeup remover , but the cleansing lotion / micellar water is amazing! It's even removed my waterproof makeup.
