Goodbye April, Hello May 2017

It's time to recap what happened for the month of April with side stories here and there plus things to look forward to in the coming month. April is boring month for me. Although there are a lot of off-days from the Lenten season and long weekend for ASEAN and Labor Day, I didn’t do anything outdoor.

I just stayed home to bond with my family and of course, to blog during during the no work days. As much as I want to go out the current weather here in the Philippines makes me sooooo lazy. Plus, there’s no invitation at all. Haha.

Anyway, let’s begin.

Kuya and Lyron’s Birthday Celebration

My brother and my nephew share the same birthday. And I do think that’s amazing. They turn a year older every March 30th but this year we celebrated it on April 1st since it was a Saturday. I will always be thankful for the life my brother and my favorite pamangkin, Lyron.

Watching Fast and Furious 8

I went third-wheeling with my sister and her boyfriend to watch Fast and Furious 8. I actually haven’t watched any Fast and Furious movie before this but the trailer of Fast and Furious 8 is so good. I honestly enjoy the movie with my buttered popcorn with extra salt and bottled water. I enjoyed almost all the scenes in the movie especially with Tyrese Gibson.

Dinner with Cata

Cata is my good friend from my previous work at WiFun. We did catch up for a ramen night before the month ended.

The following week after our dinner Cata went to a week-long vacation in Japan, South Korea and North Korea. He sent me these sweet photos.

Next year me and Nica plan to go to South Korea and I just can’t wait for that plan to materialize.

Netflix and chill

Since I am basically at home for most of the days in April I had ton of time to watch movies and TV series on Netflix. I am done with 13 Reasons Why and Riverdale’s latest episode. I also rewatched movies like World War Z, Sex and City 1 and 2, and a lot of chick flicks like Bride Wars, He’s Just Not That Into You and more.

I plan to create a post on my Netflix recommendations soon so please stay tune for that.

Things I’m Looking forward next month

Hike

My hike was February at Mt. Talamitam and I wanted to do another this May with Pia :) Still no place yet but you’ll definitely see it on next month’s recap.

Konmari My Room

I recently purchased the Life Changing Art of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo and I’ve been eating and sleeping with this book. I love it! I will be applying the lessons I learned in my room this May and I hope I’ll be able to succeed with it. I want to be clutter-free and live like minimalist this 2017.
