What I Want To Achieve For The Rest of 2019

Oh my! I can’t believe it is almost the last two months of 2019 now.

I remember sitting at the corner of my room envisioning how the year is going to be -- setting goals and dreaming of life-changing habits I want to achieve.

And in a blink of an eye, it’s the end of another year.

Today’s post, I thought of sharing what I want to achieve for the rest of 2019. This is me wanting to make the most of the last 60 days of the year. Let’s begin.

Read more books than last year

Before 2019 started I set a goal of reading 30 books.

I was so good in the first month and finished three books but a sudden change happened in February. My work shifted 360 degrees! I became the Digital Marketer at First Metro Asset. It was a role I’ve always dreamed and prayed for even before.

I was so happy, so in the zone that I even forget about my personal life. Reading books became not much of a priority anymore. Blogging even became secondary to me.

Currently, I only read 11 out of 30 books in my 2019 Reading Challenge. But, I want to make up for the wasted months.

I am done with the first three books from the Harry Potter series - Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

I also added Still Alice by Lisa Genova and In A Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware for my October reads.

Looking at it, I believe I won’t be able to finish My Reading Challenge for this year, so what I want to achieve is to read more than what I did last year. I vow to finish more than 16 books for 2019.

Flatten my stomach

I used to have a flat stomach but now I don’t. I guess it is the lack of control over my food intake. Haha.

Anyways, one of the many I want to achieve for the rest of 2019 is to finally flatten my stomach. I love wearing high waist pants and shorts but I always look like three months pregnant with them. My goal is not even to have abs, just reduce the unwanted fat since the rest of my body is already slim.

Build my own workout routine

Another great habit I want to embody for 2019 is a good workout routine, especially in the morning.

One thing I learned from the years of trying to build my own workout routine is to do exercises that you enjoy doing. It makes the strenuous activity easier. What I want to achieve is building a workout routine that I can enjoy doing on a daily basis. Really gather those that I love to do and those that challenges me.

And flatten my stomach is definitely part of the end goal.

Practice my Ideal Morning and Evening Routine for 21 days straight

I am a living testimony of how a good morning (or evening) begins with structured routine that involves gratitude, self-care and exercise.

The longest streak I had when it comes to my ideal morning and evening routine was seven (7) days straight. They say it takes 21 days to build a habit and so I want to spend the rest of 2019 practicing my ideal morning and evening routine.

Get back to blogging

Aside from the reading department, there’s another side of my life I forgot -- blogging. I used to blog all the time, especially on weekends. But with my current workload, I found it hard to maintain everything.

I started to be out of my blogging schedule. I used to blog here in IzzaGlinoFull three times a week and now I won’t have a post for almost a month. A MONTH!

Reading emails and comments from people who have nothing but nice things to say about the blog motivated me to persevere. To get back on track and publish posts again.

For the rest of 2019 I want to get back to blogging. I even plan to participate in a blogmas for December! Yes!!!

Blogging changed my life so much and I am not ready to give up on this hobby yet.

Make memories

Lastly, for the rest of 2019 I want to make memories. I don’t want to feel any regrets and what ifs. I want to maximize everyday and live happy. I know there is so much to celebrate for 2019 instead of thinking of what I should have done.

That’s it with the things that I want to achieve for the rest of 2019.
