I am a huge mascara fan. I love how a mascara can make my look more polished and on point with just two to three coats. As of today, I developed this huge dependency on mascara that I wear them almost every single day.
So you can imagine my excitement when I saw in my Facebook Timeline that Maybelline is currently holding a 100pesos off sale for their mascara line. I immediately visited the nearest Watsons and bought one. I already tried and tested the Hypercurl Volume Mascara, which was my very first mascara ever, and so what I purchased is the Maybelline Magnum Mascara Volume Express Waterproof Mascara.
Product Details
From Maybelline comes an affordable waterproof mascara in black that gives a curled and lifted effect on the lashes. It has 100% lash collagen formula that guarantees fuller, thicker and longer looking lashes with few strokes.
It is available for 399pesos on retail but because of the 100pesos off I bought it for just 299pesos. The only color or shade available is black.

Direction
The Maybelline Magnum Volume Express Mascara is best used if you want a natural curl and volume for your lashes. You can start by wiggling the product on your bottom lashes. Don’t worry if ever you mess up because you can easily use a cotton buds to undo the damage.
Then if you have a curler you can use it to prepare your lashes for the mascara but if you don’t have any lash curler it’s alright because the product can do it’s own magic. Make sure to store the product in a cool dry place and avoid having the product uncovered because the formula can easily dry.

My Experience
This mascara is great for everyday use. It has a cute unique packaging that I love. It gives volume and holds the lashes all day. Since it is a waterproof mascara, this product doesn’t give panda eyes after a long period of time. It doesn’t smudge too even if the current weather is in extreme summer humidity.
I usually put 2-3 coats on my lashes to have the volume and the length that I want and so far I don’t see any problem when it comes to reapplication. The curved wand makes it easy to use on hard to reach lashes while the price is definitely affordable. This is a perfect mascara to use if you are doing the spidery lashes.

I recommend the Maybelline Magnum Volume Express Mascara for students and young female career women as an everyday mascara. It is affordable and bring beauty to the lashes. You can also try the Maybelline Volume Express Hypecurl Mascara.
