Christmas Gift Ideas for Christians

Today’s post I will be sharing some gift ideas for a Christian friend, colleague or family member in your life. If you are looking for the best gift idea then this post is for you.

Devotional Books

I think every Christian would like to receive a devotional book for the New Year.

Devotional books are publications which provide a specific spiritual reading for each calendar day. Although a lot of devotionals can now be found online through websites and blogs, having a physical book is still a better way in my opinion.

Currently, I am using Jesus Calling by Sarah Young and I’m really enjoying the daily guidance it provides.

What I do is read the entry for the day before moving on to my Bible Study. I highlight words and sentences that speaks a lot to what I’m going through in that day.

Here are some devotional books I recommend for gift giving:

  •      Trust God Day by Day by Joyce Meyer
  •      Better Than Jewels: A Weekly Devotional by Rica Peralejo
  •      My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers
  •      The One Year Daily Devotionals

You can easily get these devotional books at leading boosktores or better yet visit OMF Lit Store in Greenbelt 1.

Bible Verse inspired Knick Knacks

Knick Knacks such as mugs, wallet, tote bag and even t-shirts that have bible verses are good way to inspire and empower Christian friends and family members.

Not only do they sell at a fraction of prize but they are also useful to remind God’s word and encourage the receiver to read the Bible as well.

The best store I know that has a dedicated aisle for these kind of Knick knack is Expressions.

Journal/Notebook

Any notebook can come in handy for a Christian to use in journaling or prayer. If your friend is into bulletjournaling or a big list maker this would definitely be a good gift to give.

Here are some ways one can fill in a notebook:

·         Bucket List
·         Goals
·         Prayer List
·         Gratitude List
·         Books To Read
·         Movies/Series to Watch
·         Routines
·         Needs vs. Wants

Bible

If you want to extra generous I highly suggest giving a Bible for Christmas. This could be a handy Bible that the receiver can bring to church or doing discipleships. Prices for Bible can go as low as Php 450 to Php 1000 depending on the brand.

Aside from Bible, you can also give bible study accompaniment like Bible Dictionary, Books on How to Read the Bible and other self-help books that provide tips in growing faith to God.

I hope you enjoyed this post.
