If you visit MY ARCHIVE you'll know how I haven't posted anything that includes eyeshadow base. The nearest will most probably my Pinay's Guide : All About Primer. I don't really feel the need in investing for an eyeshadow since I rarely use any eyeshadow and I can just use concealer instead.
But seeing the Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base on brand Essence made me buy it. The price is good, the look and feel is great and this baby just lives up to your expectation.

How To Use
Apply as a usual eyelid base. It has a sponge doe applicator that makes it way easy to disseminate on the eye area. Make sure to blend afterwards.
My Experience
Essence I Love Stage is my only eyeshadow primer at the moment. I use at times when I have to wear makeup like attending events and whenever I have hosting gigs. The packaging is very simple and the sponge doe applicator reminds me of a lip gloss actually. A little amount of this product can cover the eyelid and prepare it for eye makeup.
It helps avoid discoloration on the eyelids and the veiny part. It is blendable and dries to a powder which is absolutely amazing. It mattifies the eyelids to stop it from becoming shiny or creasy.
Tip #1: You can apply the eyeshadow primer as is blend. Since it dries as a powder it can act as a natural eyeshadow on your eyes. Perfect for a natural look.
The color of the product is more on the orangey side but when blended it works perfectly. The consistency and color is almost similar to the usual concealers and just holds everything in place for about five to six hours.
I love that the product is high coverage. You dab some on the eyes, blend it and you are good to go. I sometime use it to highlight my brow bone which you can do too. For its price, Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base is considered is considered affordable.

- That doesn't guarantee a whole day prevention in creasing
- Won't work if you are too mestizas since the undertone is quiet orangey
Overall
I loooove this eyeshadow base! It makes my eyeshadow pop even more. The colors are much vibrant and pigmented plus lasts longer. This could be a good a good investment for those who are looking for affordable eyeshadow primer. The color will neutralize your eyelid's discoloration and you can use it on an everyday basis.
