BOOKS | 5 Books on My Waiting List this 2016

My book collection grew massively last year. Thanks to these shops where I basically find secondhand books for much lower price. I can even say that I shopped for books more than makeup but it maybe the same amount.

Anyhow today I'll give a walkthrough on the books in my waiting list. These are the very books I bought and I really ultimately wanted to read but keep on forgetting about them. If ever you have one of the books below let me know if you are done reading them and your impression about the book.

Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult

When I finished reading My Sisters Keeper I fell in love with Jodi Picoult's writing. She knows goes with difficult theme and manage to make it an easy and entertaining. I saw Nineteen Minutes as Jodi's top book written and I lucky me I found it at Book Sale Market! Market! Since then I never had the chance to open the book and make it as part of my reading list.
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

I bought this book since it came as recommended list in Books to Read in 2015. I actually can't remember anymore how I got it and where I bought. I am still into reading this book and hopefully I let go of this on the waiting list. I also found out another great book by Hosseini called A Thousand Splendid Suns which is on my To Buy List.
Julie and Julia by Julie Powell

I enjoyed watching the movie so much so I decided to find the book in the hope that I could read it right away. Well I got distracted by other books so I wasn't able to read it. I was also surprised with how bulky the pages are with this book. I thought it would be less than 500 pages. I am looking forward to what lessons this book will bring me.
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

Another book that came on the Books to Read in 2015. I got super excited when I saw this at Book Sale, I believe. I bought it and scan it a few times but never had the chance to read the book in full. This is another book with movie adaptation that I added on my collection.
The Book Thief by Zusak

I got this book during the 36th Manila Book Fest and this is the only one left in the books I bought that I have never read. I think its because the book is a bit intimidating with the core of the story being set during the Nazi regime in Germany. There were a lot of amazing reviews on this book in Goodreads and really placed it in books to read.

I have zero idea when I'll have a chance to start reading the books above. Hopefully I get them all finished before 2016 ends.
