Althea A’Bloom Collection Review

Today I’m excited to share my review of Althea A’Bloom Collection. A’Bloom is the latest and newest in-house brand of Althea Korea. The brand is all about cute, quirky and colorful beauty products from makeup puff, blackhead remover to sheet masks! Let’s begin the review.

Meringue Puffs

I kid you not, but these Meringue Puffs from the A’Bloom Collection are literally the cutest makeup tool ever. There is nothing out in the market that can compare with the shape, size and color of these sponges.

The Meringue Puffs are not your ordinary makeup applicator. It comes in two sizes - Giant and Baby (comes in a box of three) perfect for every need. They are soft, spongy, and feel plush on the skin. They are actually made from high density latex-free foam making it friendly for those who have unknown allergy to latex.

  • Use it two ways - You can use the puffs either wet or dry. If you want a dewy finish, soak the sponge until in expands before using. If in case you are setting the makeup you can also use it dry or as it is.

How to use?

For dewy effect, soak the sponge in running water and squeeze excess before application. You can use the narrow part of the Meringue Puff for the eyes, nose, lips and curved part of the face. Use the bottom wide area for the rest of the face.

For matte effect, simply use dry.

A'Bloom Natural BHA Blackhead Blaster

When I received an email regarding the launch of A’Bloom, this is the product I am excited the most. I have blackheads on my nose and chin area that I just want to get rid of. I know cleansers and toners can only do so much, and seeing this product made specifically to combat blackheads, and has the ingredient BHA in it really sold me!

The BHA Blackhead Blaster from A’Bloom is a no pain blackhead (and whitehead) removal that comes in natural BHA stick. It has gentle and non-irritating formula that treats existing blackhead and prevents new one from forming! A-MAZ-ING!

Quick Notes about A'Bloom Natural BHA Blackhead Blaster

  • It is the first natural BHA stick sold in the market.
  • It removes blackhead easily and painlessly! No more pore strips!!!
  • It purifies and clarifies pores instantly.
  • It has a melting texture that sweeps away impurities to reveal soft clean skin.

Key Ingredients

White Willow a.k.a. Natural BHA which “eats” dead skin cells.
Charcoal has absorbing power to clear oil and dirt so you have glowing skin in an instant.
Apricot Seeds scrub away impurities while keeping the pores clean and tight.
Tea Tree Leaf Oil acts like a balm to calm the skin and minimize redness.

How to use

After cleansing your face, apply the BHA Blackhead Blaster onto the targeted areas  with excessive sebum. Gently massage in circular motion to release the trapped oil. You will feel a little tingle as it goes proving that the product is actually working. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

If you want a more effective routine, place a warm cloth on the targeted areas first to open up the pores before using the A'Bloom Natural BHA Blackhead Blaster.

This BHA Blackhead Baster is available for only Php 200.

A’Bloom Sheet Masks

Last but not the least, are the A’Bloom Sheet Masks. I have a box filled with sheet masks and is always in the lookout for more to add in my collection. The A’Bloom Sheet Masks come in four variants with the fruitiest names ever!

Water-Me-Long Moisturizing Sheet Mask

This mask is perfect for those looking for hydration and moisturization. It has watermelon extract and added lavender to calm the senses. This sheet mask is perfect for those who are experiencing dryness and redness on the skin.

Water-Me-Long Moisturizing Sheet Mask is the one I tried for review and it didn’t disappoint at all. I love how concentrated the essence is in the pack. There is actually a whole bottle of about 25g essence in each A’Bloom Sheet Mask so you’ll be sure to get quality mask for your skincare routine.

This mask is infused with antioxidants from avocados and hibiscus flowers to give the skin some anti-aging goodness, preventing signs of aging and fine lines from appearing. It also protects the skin from harmful environmental factors and prevent wrinkles.

Sparkle-Me-Bright Brightening Sheet Mask

Definitely a mask I am excited to use since I do suffer from dark spots and pimple marks around the face area. The Sparkle-Me-Bright Brightening Sheet Mask clarifies and brighten dull skin to reveal a natural glow from within. It has double-dose of Vitamin C from lemon and lime extracts that helps banish dark spots and with green tea to calm the skin.
