HBC San San Nude Lipsticks in Cinnamon, Coco Fudge and Amaretto

Today I am sharing with you my review on HBC San San Nude Lipsticks in Cinnamon, Coco Fudge and Amaretto.

One fine day stroll at HBC Store, I saw the San San lipstick line and was in love at first swatch with the whole collection. If only I have money and a budget, I’ll probably buy the whole collection.

I think more than the shade range, I was in love with the formula. I swatched almost every color during my visit, and it glides on my lips better, one after the other.

San San has been well known to provide a complete range of make-up products that are enriched with vitamins A, C, and E that nourish skin and provide colors for everyday use.

I’ve blogged about a number of San San products in the past and now, more than ever I’m excited to share them with you.

Amaretto is a corally-brown shade that stood out among all the lipsticks in the line. It is the kind of lipstick shade I typically go to because it suits my morena skin best. The sales lady mentioned that Amaretto is their best seller as well.

Cinnamon is the perfect MLBB! This resembles Touch of Nude from Maybelline Creamy Matte line. Such a nice pinkish brown lipstick for every day. It is wearable and flattering on every skin.

Coco Fudge is the darkest one among the three shades. I like it because it has an attitude when used.

My Experience

Packaging. I love that HBC San San already enhanced their packaging. I really like the clear rose pink effect of the tube with metalic at the bottom. The name of the shade and shade number are indicated below the tube. What I find as a con though is that the color where the shade name and number are in does not match the actual lipstick.

Application and Pigmentation. The HBC San San Nude Lipstick Line has such interesting texture and formula. I was so surprised that even though my lips are not well moisturized, I was still able to apply the lipsticks on my lips smoothly.

The pigmentation is great at one swipe but to bring out the intensity of the color I still do 2-3 times and it does not crack my lips. The finish is semi-matte and I had to pat a tissue over my lips to make it look more matte.

Longevity. The HBC San San Nude Lipstick lasts about 3 to 4 hours max. It does not transfer easily and is really moisturizing on the lips.

What I Love About the Product?

  • Great formula for the price
  • Applies smoothly even even when layered after the other
  • Cheap but worth the price

What I Don’t Like?

  • The bullet breaks easily :( I had Amaretto broken and fixed just a week after buying it.

Overall

After years, I finally bought another product from HBC San San and I’m very happy I did. The HBC San San Nude Lipsticks are the best I’ve tried so far. They are creamy, moisturizing, pigmented and long lasting.
