BOOKS | Books on My To Buy List This 2016

One of page that I treasure the most in my current bullet journal setup is my Books to Buy List. Though not publicly written on my goals this new year I know for a fact that I wanted to read more books this new year. Every month there are more and more good books being released and I really have to catch up on my collection.

In today's post I will be sharing the books that are part of my To Buy List. This list is something that will surely be longer as time goes by so I will update here and there if  a new book is added to the list.

November 9 by Colleen Hoover

UPDATE!!! I already have this book. My OJTs gave it to me as a gift after their internship.

I first heard about Colleen Hoover's November 9 book during the week of my birthday last year. My birthday is November 9, 1993 and imagine how happy I am seeing the title of the book to be my very birthday!!! I wanted to buy it as a birthday gift but it wasn't released in the Philippines after my birthday.

Diary of Anne Frank

Back when I was in high school I got obsessed with anything that has to do with World War II. I guess its because of the movie I watched for our World History subject called Life is Beautiful. Upon further research I learned about the book Diary of Anne Frank and for so long I wanted to own the said book. It was actually part of the books I was supposed to buy during the 36th Manila International Book Fair but I ran out of budget. HAHA.

Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed

You know how I surpassed one of my goals this year to hike and one of the many things that inspired me to do so is this book. Well, technically it is after watching the movie adaptation but when I researched about the book and found that many people find it good I immediately included it in my books to buy.

The Girl on the Train by Gillian Flynn

I received the well-acclaimed book of Gillian Flynn Gone Girl as a gift on our company's Christmas Party and I have to be honest, I enjoyed reading the book so much. The Girl on the Train is another epic book by Flynn and I can't wait to see it on my book collection this year.

The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Condo

If there's one book out of my To Buy List that I really wish I have at this very moment it would be this book. I badly need a sense of organization in every corner of my room. I saw a lot of good reviews in this book and one of my favorite vlogger Vivianna mentioned it during her organization video.

Harry Potter Complete Series by J.K. Rowling

This may cost me around 2,000-4,500pesos but I really don't care. It is even part of my Things I Want in 2016 post. I will be very very proud to own the complete set of books since it is something that I know will still interest people in 10-15 years from now. Also, the last series I've bought is the Hunger Games and I badly need to add in to that.

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert

I hope you remember Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of highly-read Eat, Pray and Love. I love that book so much but this Big Magic is quiet different. It is meant for creative entrepreneurs. I've seen a lot of bloggers hype this book for inspiration in their blogging and business life.

Room by Emma Donoghue

I haven't watched the movie but with the inputs from the reviewers about the book I knew I will love this. With the good things I read online I basically have an idea of what the book is and I am excited to buy it pretty soon.

Margot by Jillian Cantor

Going back with my World War II obsession. This book is about Anne Frank's older sister Margot Frank. It is said that she died during the war but in the book she survived and escaped her life with a new name and identity. I haven't seen this book ever in counters here in the Philippines and I have no idea where I can buy it actually. Please if you happen to own this book or you know an Instagram shop that carry it comment down below. I want this book.
