2021 Bullet Journal Set Up

Today I will be sharing my 2021 Bullet Journal Setup.

As always I set my bullet journal on more of a minimalist set up. I focus on layouts that worked for me in the past and include some I found online that I want to try.

You can see my past bullet journal layouts here -

2020 Bullet Journal Set Up

For 2021, I am using the remainder of the Leuchtturm 1917 notebook in Black I bought August last year. Excited to be sharing with you my 2021 bullet journal spreads:

2021 Cover Page

For my 2021 Cover Page I opted for a simple lettering of the numbers 2-0-2-1 just to welcome the new year. I also included my Word of the Year which is ESTABLISH.

Last year, I put Growth as a theme. I intended 2020 to be a year where I will see massive growth in terms of my personal being and finances. I feel like I half-way did this since I got a lot of my financial goals done for 2020. You can read all about them on my 2020 Year-End Review.

And because the pandemic took place last year, it opened for more time and resources to grow.  I managed to read a lot of books, maintain a morning routine that works, have unplanned savings with the work-from-home set up and so on.

But I know that I’m not as consistent as I should be. And so, the word that resonated with me the best this year is “ESTABLISH”.

What I want most for 2021 is to work on myself, my routines, my workflows, my finances, etc. To establish a firm foundation for the years ahead.⁣

Found this amazing bible verse to back it up 👇🏼⁣

1 Peter 5:10 ESV⁣

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.⁣

2021 Future Log

For my 2021 bullet journal set up, I decided to ditch the yearly calendar and opt for a functional future log instead. I divided my future log to different sections:

  • a mini-calendar to give me an overview of the days of the month,

  • a section to write down events, deadlines and appointments | Purple for Personal, Red for Work

  • a section to write notes for the month,

  • a section for finances including payday reminders and other dates related to money

2021 Social Media Trackers

One of the newest pages I have this year compared to the past yearly bullet journal setups I have is the addition of a Social Media Tracker.

Since part of my main goal for 2021 is to establish my brand bigger this year, I thought it would be nice to have a page just to track my progress. I want to record the number of subscribers or followers I have for each platform I own including the income I get on Adsense.

2021 Goals

Of course I need to have my 2021 goals. I really love how I was able to set up my 2021 goals page this year. I divided my goals into different important facets of my life like Spiritual/Faith, Personal, Financial, Work, Business, and Blog.

I am a firm believer in writing goals and I feel like having this page where I can turn to every now and then will be helpful for me.

2021 Financial Road Map

I want to be more involved with my finances this 2021.The Financial Road Map spread is separated into two sections.

The left side is for my sinking funds. I have a ton of Sinking Funds for 2021 and I wanted to have a dedicated page to track them all. I really love how this page turned out and I am excited to fill in each box as the year goals. If you’re curious what Sinking Fund is all about, check out this post.

On the right side is a Money Overview. It’s a simple spreadsheet where I can track my income and expenses every single month. I created this page the same as my objective in creating the 2021 Social Media Tracker, just to track my progress.

2021 Books to Read

For my 2021 Books To Read layout I made the same tracker I used last year which really helps me visualize all of my readings. I love this page because it’s easy to record how many pages I read, dates I read them plus a visualization when I finish reading them. I once did this layout in October 2019 and it quickly became one of my favorite layouts.

2021 Ideal Schedule

I’m all for establishing boundaries while still being productive this 2021 so I thought of creating a page for my ideal schedule this year. I have a hard time managing my time on a weekly basis so that’s the area where I put more emphasis as I set up this page.

I just have a simple table where I can write down the main tasks for every day of the week. What’s great is it is separated for each main page I have as well from SavingsPinay, Izza Glino Full and YouTube

2021 Period Tracker

I did this layout last year and did it again this year.

I saw this randomly on the internet and thought it would be a nice addition to my set up for self-care purposes. I wanted to be more familiar with my own body and see how it affects my mood and decisions as well.

For this layout, I just wrote down the 12 months of the year with the different days. Then, when I do have my menstruation I plan to highlight the days it begins until it ends.

Q1 Goals and Action Plans + Q1 Review

Something I also didn’t do before is having a page for my Quarter 1 Goals and Action Plans. Breaking down your yearly goals into quarterly basis is so important.

That’s it for my 2021 Bullet Journal Set Up.
