You’ve always heard me talk about my obsession with nude and mauve lipsticks. I love me some my-lips-but-better, everyday lipstick.
But in today’s post I would like to share with you my red lipstick collection.
I don’t really wear red lipsticks that much because it looks “too bold”. But over the years I found some of the best wearable red lipsticks I'd like to share with you today.
EB Matte Lipstick in Siennas
Siennas is a brownish kind of red that easily brightens any morena skin.
The lipstick is very creamy in texture and the application is also really easy. It has no tagging on the lips
and pigmented enough to show off even at its own swipe.
It has a great lasting power for it's affordable price.It does have minimal transfer and I call this as an everyday red lipstick that I learned to love after every use.

City Color Be Matte Lipstick in Kelly
City Color's Be Matte Lipstick is every girl's must have secret! Its rich formula is highly pigmented to create the perfect matte shades.
Every bullet is enhanced with Vitamin E to nourish the lips and provide long lasting color. The collection is available in 36 stunning shades and claims to never make your lips feel dry and maintain the perfect shade throughout the day.
City Color Be Matte Lipstick in Kelly is a mix of red and mauve. It's a very natural and wearable pop of color on the lips. It has a deeper undertone so it compliments morena skin tone and can also satisfy those with brighter complexion.
I love pigmentation. One swipe is enough to give you the rich color you deserve. You can also layer the lip color anytime because it is non-drying at all!!!
I love how creamy it is when applied. I don't have a hard time blending the color on my lips. Sometimes I even use my finger to pat the color and make it last longer. I suggest using a good lip balm to prep your lips. For the smell both lipsticks have a sweet scent on it especially City Color Be Matte in Kelly. No worries because the smell won't bother you that much.

HBC SanSan Nude Lipstick in Coco Fudge
Don’t let the product name fool you. Although this lipstick is part of the HBC SanSan Nude Lipstick collection, the shade Coco Fund is like a dark, vampy red.
And I love it so much.
HBC San San enhanced their packaging so for this lipstick collection. I really like the clear rose pink effect of the tube with metalic at the bottom. The name of the shade and shade number are indicated below the tube. What I find as a con though is that the color where the shade name and number are in does not match the actual lipstick.
It has an interesting texture and formula. I was so surprised that even though my lips are not well moisturized, I was still able to apply the lipsticks on my lips smoothly.
The pigmentation is great at one swipe but to bring out the intensity of the color I still do 2-3 times and it does not crack my lips. The finish is semi-matte and I had to pat a tissue over my lips to make it look more matte. The lipstick lasts about 3 to 4 hours max. It does not transfer easily and is really moisturizing on the lips.

Flormar Supermatte Lipstick in Milk Chocolate
I never bought any product from Flormar but thanks to the sales lady at the SM Bicutan kiosk I discovered their makeup. This Flormar Supermatte Lipstick in Milk Chocolate is very good.
It mattifies in an instant, glides extra smooth, very creamy and has minimal transfer. It accentuates the shape of my lips making it more voluptuous with one swipe. I also love how it makes a normal day extra special just like how the real milk chocolate does.
The perfect reddish brown matte lipstick ever. One my priciest matte lipstick but super worth it. This applies very well on the lips and I don't have any problem whatsoever. The color is so pretty and very wearable. It is a good lipstick this holiday season and I will definitely wear it. The pigmentation is on point plus lasts longer than usual.

EB Matte Liquid Lipstick in Dusk
The Ever Bilena Matte Liquid Lipstick collection comes in 12 amazing colors. Each shade is named after their classic matte lipstick counterpart. They work as the liquid version of the said lippies.
I enjoy a good liquid lipstick especially on days when I want to liven up my mood. However, I’m not that experimental when it comes to picking shades. I always go with the usual nude to brownish red colors that compliments my morena skin a lot.
If you are looking for an affordable liquid lipstick that will stay on for HOURS, then these Ever Bilena Matte Liquid Lipsticks are perfect for you. I love the quick-dry formula since I am always in a hurry. It does survive amidst the drinking and eating you will do on a day. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips at all and I can vouch for that.
I tried pressing and closing my lips to see if the liquid lipstick would move but it A-MA-ZINGLY did not! There is no damage done on the lips. I don’t have any high end liquid lipstick to compare from but among all the local liquid lipstick in my current collection, the EB Matte Liquid Lipsticks in Dusk come on the top spot.

SilkyGirl Matte Junkie Lip Cream in Vixen
SilkyGirl Go Matte Junkie Lip Cream claims to be:
A vivid liquid color with a matte finish
Kiss proof and transfer-resistant
Fragrance-free, carmine-free and paraben-free
Not tested on animals
The shade Vixen is such a bright red color you will use for special occasions.
The lip cream is super pigmented! One swipe is enough to cover the whole lips. It applies smoothly and doesn’t dry my lips which gets me totally shook!
The liquid lipsticks are quite creamy and dries to a complete matte finish upon application. It will literally take seconds for it to try ultra matte. But, even though the first application is already done and dry it is still surprisingly easy to layer the lipstick.
I also love the fact that it is extremely long wearing. I had it on for 7-8 hours without fading or feathering. It is actually one of the very few lipsticks or lip products that looks better the longer it sits on your lips.

Maybelline Matte Ink in Ruler
The Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink in Ruler is part of the Superstay Matte collection of Maybelline. It claims to be a long-lasting matte liquid lipstick that in your lips up to 16-hour saturated liquid matte. The product features an arrow applicator for precise application and currently available in around 15 different shades.

You all know how obsessed I got when it comes to liquid matte lipsticks. I really thought I got over the whole liquid lipstick trend already but I fell in love at first swatch (and swipe) with this newest product from Maybelline. I always go for nude or coral shades but this time I told myself it’s time for some change. I picked up Ruler as it is the most flattering red shade I have ever tried.
The staying power of this lip color is so good. I use this at work and I never have to reapply it. It’s like a tattoo that sticks even as I’m back at home.
Because it stays really well on the lips, removing it can be a bit bothersome too. I find the Garnier Micellar Water to be the best ever in removing the said lip stain. What I do is soak the cotton in micellar water and rest it first on my lips to melt the product off. I find this to be the best way to remove the stain.
