Goodbye June, Hello July 2020

It's time to recap what happened for the month of June 2020 with side stories here and there plus things to look forward to in the coming month.

June 2020 passed by too quickly. Who would have guessed we’re now halfway through the year.

It’s been almost four months now that I’ve been working from home and the adjustment period has been well.

Truly this is the “new normal” for all of us. And as to how long this would be the case, no one knows.

And it’s finally starting to feel like the “new normal” normal if I may say.

I felt like June 2020 was the most productive I’ve been in terms of blogging. I was able to blog in advance for most weeks which is unusual considering how I have performed in the past. Here are the tools that made me stay productive as productive as I can blogging.

Here’s January 2020, February 2020, March 2020, April 2020 and May 2020 in case you missed them.

New Haircut

I finally decided to cut my hair short. It has been too humid lately and I just wanted to get back a haircut that will allow me to go faster. The short haircut is also easier to maintain on a daily basis.

Father’s Day

For Father’s Day, my eldest sister, who resides in Quezon City visited us to celebrate. It was fun because we were finally able to see each other after so many months. We had a simple celebration together.

Goodbye May, Hello June 2020

June 2020 Favorites

Beauty - For June 2020, I really enjoyed using Eskinol Spot-less White Facial Deep Cleanser With Pure Calamansi Extracts. My younger sister recommended the product to me and although I was hesitant at first, I saw how it healed her tiny bumps so I tried it. Wow. It really works wonders. This doesn’t sting that much unlike the Pimple Fighting variant plus I feel like the condition of my face really approved after two weeks of continued use after cleansing. I’ll definitely write a review about this product soon.

Movie or Show - For June 2020, I decided to watch The World of Married Couple just because so many of my friends have already watched it. The drama is really good. I love how each episode will have flashbacks and flashforwards. The intensity of emotion in each episode is real.

I am still watching Snowpiercer, the series version. Netflix updates new episodes on a weekly basis and have now been waiting for episode 8.

Song - I enjoyed Twice’s new song More and More so much that it has been on my repeat mode all through June. I also got excited with Blackpink’s newest song How You Like That.

Looking Forward Next Month

July is the birth month of my elder sister and my Mom. Of course due to the pandemic we really can’t celebrate that much unlike before.

I hope you are staying safe with your loved ones.

Thank you for reading.
