Current Five Product Face 2021

I’m so excited to be sharing a new current five product face post. The last one I did was in
January 2020, pre-pandemic days. It’s time to share what I’ve been using lately as my five reliable products that can make a full makeup on the go.

Recently I shared that I did a shop for new makeups so some of the products on my current five product faces are part of that haul.

Let’s begin

Happy Skin On the Glow in Natural Beige

I’ve been using this Happy Skin On the Glow in Natural Beige as my foundation and concealer in one. Whenever I have meetings that need video on and I want to look a bit made up, I trust this foundation so much.

I love the lightweight formula and how perfect the shade Natural Beige matches my skin tone. You can easily build this foundation or top it with a concealer should you need a “plakado” look.

The Happy Skin On the Glow in Natural Beige is not just a foundation but it’s also infused with SoyBean Seed Extract, which boasts a wide range of vitamins and minerals that make the skin look radiant. It also has Vitamin E!

This will definitely be part of my best products for 2021.

How I Use It? Happy Skin On the Glow comes in a twistable cushion just like the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser only bigger. However, I don’t use this product straight after twisting it. Instead, I dispense the product and put some on my middle finger which I use to pat on my skin. The formula of this Happy Skin On the Glow is so good you won’t have a hard time using it.

L'oreal Infallible Concealer in Amber

There are days when I want additional coverage from redness on my cheeks and on my under eye area. For this I use my trusty Loreal Infallible Concealer in Amber. This concealer is so good and I just love how I got it for 50% off.

I’ve featured the L’oreal Infallible Concealer in Amber in the following posts:

My Top 5 Under Eye Concealers for Dark Circles

How I Use It? I apply using the applicator directly on my under eye area, spots on both cheeks, nose bridge and around the mouth area. I either blend using a damp sponge or the warmth of my fingers.

Nichido Blush in Cool Rhum

If you are looking for a budget friendly blush to start your makeup collection, I highly suggest you check out Nichido’s True Color Blush collection.

The price is just Php 88 and you already get to own a decent size of blush. Plus, the shade range is not bad either.

The shade Cool Rhum works best if you have morena skin like me. It’s this peachy-rosy shade that will compliment a blushing cheeks look. I love that I can top this even if I didn’t use a powder after my foundation. It blends well and looks natural.

How I Use It? I use my favorite blush brush to put on the highest points of my cheeks.

L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise

Finally I’ve been using a new mascara! This L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise is so good and I’ve used it a couple of times since I got it.

I love how it lengthens and volumizes my lashes. It has one of the blackest pigments in a mascara that I’ve ever tried. The wand may seem too big and intimidating to use on the lower lashes but based on experience it’s actually alright.

It’s easy to wiggle and it gives a natural finish depending on how heavy you use. I even have an officemate who thought I got fake lashes on.

How I Use It? I apply my mascara as slowly and efficiently as possible making sure that I wiggle the wand at times.

Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me in Honeymoon Glow

Another new product that I’ve been loving lately is Happy Skin’s Shut Up and Kiss Me in Honeymoon Glow. This is nude matte lippie that glides so smoothly. Even with my super dry lips, it’s so easy to use. The shade looks good as well and a perfect everyday lipstick.

How I Use It? I use this product either on its own or with a lip and cheek tint for an ombre effect. Because of how pigmented it is, I just use it on my upper lips and blend the rest with my finger.
