It's been awhile since I last posted a product review. The products in my waiting list pile up already and one of the most recent item I got and want to make a review is iWhite's BB.Holic.
For me iWhite Korea is one of the best in terms of face products, I have used other products from their line such as Vita Aqua Moisturizer and Whitening Pack Peel Off Mask and I love all of them. Seeing they released BB.Holic made me want to try it. Hope you'll like this review.
From the packaging:
iWhite Korea BB.Holic is a multi-tasking BB Cream that provides several makeup and skincare benefits. It is perfect for everyday use as it is infused with over 10 plant extracts to ensure that your skin is taken care of while looking refreshingly beautiful.
BB.Holic instantly perfects your complexion, provides natural coverage and protection while it nourishes and enhances your skin through its Aroma Herb Complex formulation. It is also infused with active lightening and anti-aging properties to give you multiple benefits from a single application.
iWhite Korea's BB.Holic is brought to you to prove that an effective and quality product can be affordable.
How to Use:
On a clean skin, apply and spread an appropriate amount based on your desired coverage. This product can be worn alone or can sit perfectly under foundation or setting powder.
Packaging:
The iWhite Korea BB.Holic comes in sachet form and divided into two packets. This is perfect for people on the go and very travel-friendly.
Price:
24.50 pesos for 4ml product available in two shades Beige and Fair.
The first iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream I bought was actually the shade fair and by then I didn't know that they have a beige shade too. After reading more reviews on other bloggers I learned that the shade beige works well for the Filipina skin. I love BB creams because they are very lightweight on the skin and can be worn on a daily basis. True enough this, iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream is a good daily makeup product for me.
How I Use It? I love using my finger tips to apply this product onto my face. I do a dotted motion all over and spread evenly. This has a tendency to look white/gray so try to apply lightly first and then build the coverage you want next.
Upon Application. The texture of this product is quiet thick but melts like water upon application. It very much comparable to my Paintbox by Bench BB Cream and Collections BB Cream.
For the coverage the iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream has light to zero coverage. All it could do is even out your skin tone and make you look appear brighter and more awake. It also settle into my pores and fine lines which is quiet disappointing. But in all fairness to this BB Cream I wore it to one hot sunny morning going to work and it still stays. It still looks acceptable in 6-7 hours especially if you use a good setting powder. Mine is from my current makeup menu, Innisfree No Sebum Powder.
Claims. I know for a fact that a lot of girls in the blogging community find the iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream great. I have mixed feelings though for this product because it doesn't give any coverage at all plus it even the shade beige looks a little white on the skin.
iWhite is widely known for their skincare line so I have no doubt that as I am using the BB Cream my face also gets treated with the Aroma Herb Complex formulation.
Before and After Shots
What I Love About the Product
- Budget-friendly
- Good for on-the-go packaging
- Easy to blend
- Easy to use for an everyday basis
- Nice smell
What I Don't Love
- No coverage
- May appear too white for your complexion
- Needs tape to secure the product again since it is on sachet condition
- Available in two shades only
Overall
The iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream is another option for ladies looking for affordable BB Creams. It is also perfect if you are new to makeup and want to find out how BB Cream works. I just hope that this comes in usual tube packaging instead and more shades.
