Goodbye November, Hello December 2020

It's time to recap what happened for the month of November 2020 with side stories here and there plus things to look forward to in the coming months.

Before I move on to what happened for the month of November, allow me first to say my apologies for being missing-in-action lately. I’ve been very busy with work-stuff that I failed to edit and publish the posts I already drafted for the past weeks.

Aside from work stuff, November was also filled with personal events and webinar invitations. I celebrated my 27th birthday with my family.  Then, we also had a celebration for the birthday of my youngest sister who turned 19.

I did not just one but three webinars for the month of November which is AWESOME! Grateful for the people who trust SavingsPinay.ph so much. Really grateful.

With that said and done, we can now move on with the life recap for the month of November.

Let’s begin!

Here’s January 2020, February 2020, March 2020, April 2020, May 2020, June 2020, July 2020, August 2020, September 2020 and October 2020 in case you missed them.

27th Birthday Celebration

I turned 27 last November 9 and we had a meaningful celebration as a family. We did a DIY samgyupsal  which proved to be the best thing ever! My brother and his family went from Cavite to Taguig to celebrate with us. It was my first time seeing them since January 2020. Sobrang saya ko lalo na makita yung pamangkin ko :)

My two sisters also came to complete the celebration.

I did a post-birthday reflection for my 27th birthday here.

VMak Money Matters CommuniTeam

One of the new engagement activities we had in churches is the launch of CommuniTeams. CommuniTeams is a Zoom Meeting you can attend based on a common interest you have. It’s open not just for Victory Makati church goers but for everyone! It’s like a free webinar where you get to talk on the same topic.

I volunteered to lead the Money Matters CommuniTeam since financial stewardship is something I enjoy talking with.

We had our first ever session last November 14 and I felt a little overwhelmed seeing these attendees who are all ready to learn. For session one we basically talked about financial planning during the pandemic which is a timely topic.

Budget Template Lunch

I finally launched my own digital product over at SavingsPinay.ph. WOW!

It has been such a long dream for me to launch a digital product and now I finally have it.

The first product I launched is a 50-20-30 Budget Template. I have blogged about the 50-20-30 Rule for Budgeting before and it changed my financial life for the better. I thought of sharing it as a product in the hope it could help others start budgeting as well.

If you are interested to buy the copy of the 50-20-30 Budget Template, just CLICK HERE. It’s available for only Php 49. It is a digital download by-the-way so you can have it on your computer and print it if you want.

Breakfast at Antonio’s

I also went on a road trip with my high school classmates, Armstrong and Carmela to Tagaytay. The perks of having a friend with a car haha. It was a biglaan event that finally happened and I am really happy.

We just went on a brunch at Breakfast at Antonio’s and had a quick stay at Rowena’s to buy pasalubong. We went out on the day when the Alabang Skyway incident happened so we got stuck in traffic going home. We decided to just go stay in one of the Petron station overnight, kasiya makipagsabayan sa mga sasakyan. It’s also for safety purposes.

We had so many talks and laughters together reminiscing our high school days. Such good times.

Karen’s Birthday Celebration

My youngest sister is also a November baby and we got to celebrate her birthday as a family. It was a lowkey celebration and we just had common Filipino food like Menudo, Shanghai and Pansit Bihon. Still it was an amazing celebration.

Webinar Invitations

I had the opportunity to become a guest speaker to not just one but three different webinars for the month of November. This really took most of my time last month but still really grateful for the trust.

Blog Update

As mentioned earlier, I didn’t blog as much for the month of November. I just had five posts this month which is way below of what I used to do.

As always, I’m looking forward to a new month and a new opportunity to be productive.

Here are the posts I made in November 2020:

November 2020 Favorites

Beauty - For November 2020, I really felt like my skin has been on it's best condition ever since I suffered from pustules and textured skin at the start of the year. I feel like I finally found the right skincare for me. Something that I’ve been using are Luxe Organix Miracle Cleanser AHA/BHA Deep Pore Cleansing & Brightening and Eskinol Calamansi variant.

I already finished my The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum which is a bummer since I’m really happy with the difference it has brought in my skin. In the absence of the The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum, I’ve been using the Collagen by Watsons Toner which is also amazing.

Movie or Show - I still haven’t watched anything lately for some reason. Sobrang busy ko ata. But I am excited for the coming Attack on Titan Finale Season on Netflix December 11 which I will definitely watch.

Song - November is the comeback season for NCT as a full unit and they introduced 2 new members which got me excited. I’ve been listening to their songs in the album Resonance from Make a Wish, 90’s Love, Work It to From Home. I really love that group for some reason and know each of their names.

Looking Forward Next Month

Can’t believe we are already in the last month of 2020. What a journey it has been. I do have a few I’ve been looking forward to for the month of December.

First is the stay with my brother’s house in Cavite for a week. Also it will be a month filled with Christmas Parties at work. Lastly, I just want to make a lot of admin work to better prepare for the New Year.

I’ve always enjoyed and loved the New Year as a holiday and wanted it to be as productive as possible.

I hope you are staying safe with your loved ones.

Thank you for reading.
